Marketing Coordinator

As marketing coordinator, you will have the opportunity to market BLASTmedia as the only PR agency in the country dedicated to B2B SaaS using a variety of public relations and digital marketing techniques.  

 

In this role, you will work with the agency president and VPs to execute marketing projects, including the development of blogs and social media content, email marketing execution and press outreach.

 

What You’ll Get to Do

  • Write creative, audience-specific content that supports our agency including blog posts, bylined articles, social media and case studies

  • Work with a team to develop and execute a media relations and thought leadership strategy for the agency

  • Assist in the identification of and submission for award and speaking opportunities

  • Use Adobe to develop images for use in social media, blog and other digital marketing efforts

  • Aid the team in executing programs that generate MQLs for the agency including email marketing campaigns, webinars and gated content 

  • Research digital marketing topics to ensure BLASTmedia is taking advantage of the latest trends

  • Assist the president and VP in additional marketing and new business efforts, including the development of sales materials, research for new business proposals and assistance with promotional events, as needed

  • Lead continuing-education efforts surrounding digital marketing best practices, including holding agency-wide training sessions

 

What You’ll Need

  • Outstanding writing and editing skills, with a command of grammar, AP style and devotion to getting the details right

  • Proven experience using social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) for a B2B brand to drive website traffic and/or achieve other KPIs

  • Understanding of WordPress and how blogs and gated content can be used as part of a larger marketing strategy

  • Experience with public relations tactics, including press release development, building media lists and pitching  

  • Prior work with email marketing and/or marketing automation solutions

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of multiple teams throughout the agency  

  • Strong understanding of online media channels, trends, search engine optimization (SEO)

  • Experience working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously 

  • Ability to maintain consistent style and voice for each client, as well as write in different styles depending on client and audience

  • A bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications or a related field

 

What Will Make You Stand Out

 

  • Experience working at or on behalf of a SaaS brand

  • Agency experience

  • HTML or related coding experience

  • Proven proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator
